Sandalwood is known for its mild cleansing action. It’s typical scent that is earthy, spicy and slightly sweet. Though women love the scent too, it does make a great additive for products designed for and targeted to men.
Since this product is steam extracted, the scent is much lighter than straight sandalwood oil. Which means some people who generally don’t like the scent of sandalwood might enjoy this lighter version.
*Listed as Natural, because a preservative has been added. Cultivation: Wild harvested. This means that this plant material was found in areas that were not from a farmed plantation, most often well away from highly populated areas; making it an extremely low risk of being chemically treated. Wild harvested products are sometimes better than organic, because it was grown entirely by nature without the intervention of mankind.
